Hospital Visit II
This visit was held a few days after our 4th General Assembly. Its good turnout confirmed our notion that it was best to hold Hospital Visits immediately after GA's while the discussions and eagerness were still fresh. Attendees were assigned one non-contagious patient each and were instructed to ask the patient the following questions: What is your illness? How long have you had this illness? How much do you pay for your medicines and medical supplies each day? Where do you get the funds to pay for these? Each one's private discussion served as an eye opener more than any lecture or talk could ever hope to be. |
