Storytelling Session
The third storytelling session at the Pediatrics Ward of PGH began on a somewhat hot day. It was also the first time that our storytelling session was being done in the afternoon, from 3:00pm -- 5:00pm. We had met up at the house of Ray and Mike Alimurung in Makati, and after waiting for a while, were off to PGH. Once at PGH, some familiar faces, as well as some new faces met up with us. Some members from the Make-A-Wish Foundation and PART joined us too. The people who showed up were Karen Cipriano, Essa Remoquillo, Lerie Remoquillo, Jane Banta, Fides Baes, Margo Flores, Treena Relova, Mike Alimurung, Ray Alimurung, Audris Abesamis, Pauline Okol, Marj Valiente, Mia Maramara, Ana Narciso and Bambi Narciso. Special thanks go to Dr. Philip Cruz, the resident who allowed us to conduct the storytelling sessions at the PGH Pediatrics Ward. Thanks to all those who showed up, and hopefully we will see even more volunteers when we have this session again. |
