Food for the Soul
This was the first Charity dinner organized by and for the Bukas Sarili Foundation. The event was a great partnership between Bukas Sarili and the School of Hotel, Restaurant & Institution Management of the DLSU-College of St. Benilde, through Chef Anne Castro, whose students served up a sumptuous fine-dining full course meal to the over 100 guests at CSB's Angelo King International Center. A testimonial was delivered by Mayor Lito Atienza, following a presentation by Quintin Pastrana on the foundation, and a short acoustic guitar number by a De La Salle student. Because of the success of the event, Bukas Sarili hopes to have similar projects in the future. |
